Creating Fly Tied Earrings & Other Accessories

Paul Sinicki

We were interviewing new instructors and we were all admiring the fishing flies that our new fly-tying instructors had made.  They were truly beautiful  with such detail and someone said, “boy they would make beautiful earrings”.  Well, wouldn’t you know it, Paul said, “Yes I’ve taught how to make jewelry using the same techniques used to make fishing flies and they are awesome!”  So here you go – a truly unique class.  All the women who saw the earrings and other pieces (pins, etc.) at our Holiday Fair snapped them up before Paul was able to leave with his samples.   We’re guessing this is going to be one of our new classes that fills quickly, so don’t miss out.  This class will teach you how to tie the feathers and other materials, how to wrap the threads, and attach the mounts.
