Herbal Preparations for Veterans

Amy Cason

Herbs have an amazing ability to help veterans in so many ways. Veterans face many unique situations not generally applicable to civilians and each war has its own set of complexities. Herbs can be used by our veterans in more ways than can reasonably be listed here. Examples include minimizing effects of radiation exposure, nourishing your body so you're not on high alert all the time, and with other natural therapies can even mitigate difficulties with phantom limb pain. The use of herbs can even help with things like nightmares, insomnia, and PTSD. In this class we will cover several formulas, and students will be able to make the ones they choose.
