Russ DeFonce

This rustic style of furniture has been found in camps and homes throughout the region for centuries. They were designed from materials at hand found in the Adirondacks and constructed as functional objects – plant stand, tables, and more. Designed for beginners of all ages interested in rustic woodworking who have always wanted to make a rustic piece of furniture, in this class you will learn the use of traditional hand woodworking tools, though some modern tools will also be used in construction. All materials are furnished but you are welcome to bring materials of your own. Be creative and have fun working with materials from our Adirondack Mountains. No woodworking experience needed.
